The Eternals
Marie Sutter’s video installation ‘The Eternals’ shows an interest in the still and moving image, in the prose and sound. The voice and the silent person in front of the camera bring to mind ideas around loneliness, the subconscious, taboo and understanding. The conflict goes back to the basic question, to the discrepancy between the self and society, to the dichotomy within the social opinion between detestation and the unintended lusciousness.
